Overview

QAA International is the designated quality body under a new regulatory framework, with responsibility for assessing quality and standards in EU & UK higher education. We are also responsible for the scrutiny of applications for university title and degree awarding powers.

As one of the world-leading’s independent body safeguarding quality and standards in higher education, we work with sector partners to protect academic integrity and prevent cheating and fraud. QAA International has been working with stakeholders across the sector to coordinate responses to various manifestations of fraud and cheating. While we are concerned about all forms of cheating in higher education, we are particularly focused on activity that sees individuals or companies gaining financially from the promotion of cheating.
